Our Story

SEND Protect was created to empower families with the knowledge and tools they need to safeguard their child's finances. We recognise the distinct challenges that families of SEND children encounter, and our goal is to offer financial  education and information that is bespoke to a families individual circumstances. Join our webinars and in person events, where families can access invaluable support and expert guidance to make well-informed decisions for their child's financial well-being.

Meet me... Cara, Mum to a beautiful boy with Autism

My  journey started with a two-year quest for my son, Jayden's diagnosis, and it hit me hard how little support there was for families like ours, especially when it came to the unique financial challenges we face.

With over 20 years experience working in finance and wealth management, I decided to turn my expertise into something meaningful.

That's how SEND Protect (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities) came to life. I get it – the stress, the uncertainties, and the need for a roadmap when it comes to securing your child's financial future.

Disability Living Allowance is a start, but what about the bigger picture? What happens to my child when I’m no longer here? How would my child get access to additional finances?

I want to share our story, our struggles, and the lessons we've learned. SEND Protect is more than a service; it's a community where families can find the support and information they need.

Through a team of financial experts and specialists working alongside SEND Protect, they can provide tailored advice to ensure your child's future is not just secure but filled with an abundance of possibilities.

Let's embark on this journey together – because every family deserves the peace of mind that comes with a well-planned financial future for their beautiful extraordinary child or children.
